Laguna Beach, CA: Hilda and Kevin are getting married on July 17th in Placentia, Ca and I had the privilege to shot there engagement photos at the main beach in Laguna beach. When you think of a name like Hilda you do not picture a young energetic Spanish women, but that is what you get. My Mom lives down the street so I got to spend some time with my Mom and shot a awesome engagement shoot. I call that a productive day. Enjoy.
Newport Beach, CA: Baher & Nourane had a tradition Coptic Orthodox ceremony at the Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church in Santa Ana. The reception was held at the Newport Beach Marriott. I have been to this venue before and it is really nice. The grooms family come from a long line of doctors and Baher is following the tradition. Nourane looked so beautiful and seem to be having the time of her life.

Lake Forest, CA: Pablo & Nicole got married last August. Pablo wanted to surprise Nicole on her birthday with a fabulous wedding album so he asked me to put something together. After a few edits we finalized the album and sent it out to get printed and bound. When the box arrived at my door, I was so excited to open it. I love seeing my work printed and the album exceeded my expectations. Congrats to Nicole & Pablo and a big happy 24th Birthday to you Nicole!

Newport Beach, CA: Valentine’s Day is a great time to remember someone you love and to get engaged. Marcus & Jennifer one-upped the romance by getting married on Valentine’s Day. It was a small wedding with only immediate family and a few very close friends. They got married on a gondola in Newport Harbor. It was the first time I ever shot anything like this. After the brief ceremony, we went on a sunset gondola ride through the harbor. The weather was perfect and they ended the night at Joe’s Crab Shack, eating and drinking the night away with all there love ones. It does not get much better then this.

Better late then never. This is my “Best of” for 2009 slideshow. It ‘s a compilation of my favorite photos from 2009. If you have been following my blog, these images will be very familiar to you.
Each wedding and engagement session I try to push myself to be better than my last. In 2009 I felt like I accomplished that and grow is so many areas of my business. Some of my accomplishments this year was joining both the WPJA & AGWPJA, winning an award for my work from the WPJA, and moving from part-time to full-time wedding photographer. The good and bad news is I still have a lot of room to grow and look forward to 2010 with the same kind of passion and desire to perform at my best.
