Jamie & Charlie [[ Engagement Session ]]

jamie-charlie-016

Laguna Beach, CA: Jamie & Charlie just got engaged a few weeks ago. They are both originally from the mid-west, but meet and fell in love with each other in California. They have not booked a date for the wedding yet, but will be sometime next year. They were both so natural in front of the camera and needed very little direction to get them to laugh, smile, or just have fun. I was so excited about there pictures that I stayed up late and finish editing them all!!! I usually don’t do that, but I know I had some winners in this set. Check them out.

Socal Shootout

socal-model002

Los Angeles, CA: I had the pleasure to shot with Ari, Jason Q Tran, Conrad Lim, and a bunch of other photographers down in the heart of LA. Ari planned it all out with models, makeup artist Christina Chen, and even got his wedding photography professor Greg Bumatay to help out. We were able to shot down by some railroad trains and all over an industrial area of LA. Big thanks to Kristine Rae Payongayong, Michelle Honey, and Elizabeth Hernandez for modeling for us. We had them climbing on things, making them pose for hours, and getting them even a little dirty and I did not hear them complain once. Thanks again to Ari for setting it up and for the real pros like Jason, Greg, and Conrad for leading the group.

Wedding Album…. My wedding album

album-jake-jane011

Sometimes you do things that you would not suggested to your client to do. The word I am looking for is hypocrite, but I have learned my lesson…let me explain. I got married a little over 3 years ago. I decided since I was a “photographer” that I would not pay the extra fee to get a wedding album made and do it myself. Fast forward 3 years and I finally got around to getting it done. This is a lesson for all you “do it yourselfers” out there that it might be worth the extra money to get it done in a timely manner.

Okay, enough with the lecture. I just started using a new album company and they produce fantastic wedding albums. I am so pleased by the quality and style of the album that all my future wedding albums for my clients will be done by this manufacture. I have yet to see an album of higher quality at any price. Check out the picture below for a closer look.

Cortney - Love your wedding photography! You are very talented. I know a really great album company that is still taking orders even for holiday delivery, redgarterweddingbooks.com. They know personally every book that is shipped out and the clients who have ordered them. The albums are manufactured at a facility with over 50 years in the bookmaking business and they guarantee their workmanship for life. If you should need to get a couple more orders done, they are worth a look.

Ryan & Laura [[ Wedding ]]

ryan006

San Juan Capistrano, CA: Ryan & Laura got married in San Juan at a place called Rancho Capistrano.  The ceremony overlooked a small lake on the property which made for a nice background to the special moment.  The reception was a blast and Ryan and Laura’s friends got pretty crazy on the dance floor.  There was a full moon out which made for some pretty amazing night shots. Maybe that is why everyone was getting so insane on the dance floor.

Phil & Denise [[ Engagement Session ]]

phil-e-session008

Laguna Beach, CA:  Phil & Denise are getting married on 12-12-09 at Mission Viejo Lake.  There friendship and relationship first started by there mutual interest in Volleyball.  Phil knew of this really nice beach area down in Laguna Beach so we meet for the engagement session.  I have never been to this beach, but I think I will be back in the future.  I tried to capture more of them just interacting and having fun.  Phil seemed to want to get done with the photo’s at the begin, but towards the end he did not want to stop.
