Dana Point, CA: Laura and Adam’s wedding started out with an overcast day and Laura had everyone pray for Sun. Well, God came through and brought the Sun just in time for the beach shots. They are such a spiritual couple and I am glad Laura’s prayers were answered. Adam’s prayers were answered too with Laura… she is a stunning bride and I am sure Adam could not have wished for a better wife then Laura. Not everything went perfect, but it was still a picture perfect day.
Irvine, CA: Meagan and Kasey were a lot of fun to work with. Kasey and I have something in common. We both have identical twin brothers. Kasey’s brother even stood in for a shot with Meagan during the formals. It took us a second to figure it out. I have been experimenting more with extreme angles and shooting more photojournalist. I am pleased with the results and will be trying it more in the future.

This is one of my favorites
Yosemite, CA: This past weekend I packed up my stuff and took off to Yosemite with my wife. Her parents go to Yosemite a few times a year and they invited us to stay with them at their camp site. It is sooo beautiful that my pictures do not do it justice. It was a very relaxing time just watching the squirrels play and relaxing on a hammock. It was much harder than I expected to get good photos of the landscape. I am definitely no Ansel Adams.
This is where I got married over 2 1/2 years ago.
My wife loves the horses.

Santa Ana, CA: This Mothers Day my wife and I had the privilege to spend part of the day with my Mother and step Dad Peter, and my twin brother Chris and his wife Claire. We drove up to Peter’s Mom’s house to hang out and have dinner. It was fun spending time with my Mom. She is so animated and had tons of funny stories to tell us. Pete’s Mom made some ribs for dinner. They were really good and I did not have any room for dessert.
My Mom is going to try to plan a big party for everyones birthday this year. We are all turning a special age. My Mom is turning 50, Peter is going to be 60, My brother, myself and Claire are all turning 30 and my step brother is turning 20. The date and time is TBA, but I am sure it will be a time to remember.
My Mom was telling us about how they almost burnt down their tent in the woods with a propane refrigerator. It was pretty hilarious.
I just thought this was funny to see in Peter’s Mother downstairs game room.
I wish I had these cupcakes now. They look goooood.

The last couple of weeks have been a lot of fun for me. I finally got a Canon 5d Mark II! I am totally excited about it and look forward to using it in my upcoming weddings this year. It is quite a step up from my other Canon 5D. Don’t get me wrong, I love my 5D, but I really love my 5D2.

I have been assisting them the last 2 Saturdays and Ray and Erwin always amaze me with their creativity and style. I seems to learn something new every time I assist with them.
One more thing, I started a little photography group with a bunch of people from my church. I am looking forward to learn and growing as I teach the class. You need to know your stuff if you want to teach it so it will help me to explore my creative side and sharpen my game.
